Gray & Associates Construction was founded by Richard Gray with a vision to provide contractors, developers, and owners with the experienced preconstruction support needed to build successful projects from the ground up.

Throughout his career, Richard has led commercial construction projects, developed high-performing teams, and streamlined preconstruction operations for projects across multiple market sectors. His experience includes executive construction leadership, project management, estimating, procurement, scheduling, bid management, and preconstruction planning for commercial developments of varying size and complexity.

Richard's passion for organization, planning, and operational excellence led to the creation of Gray & Associates Construction—an outsourced preconstruction partner dedicated to helping contractors improve efficiency, strengthen project planning, and confidently prepare projects for construction.

Prior to his civilian construction career, Richard proudly served in the United States Air Force, where he led construction operations, managed personnel, developed training programs, and supported engineering missions throughout the Middle East. The leadership, accountability, and operational discipline developed during his military service continue to shape the way Gray & Associates serves its clients today.

Richard believes that successful projects are built on preparation, communication, and accountability. Those principles guide every service Gray & Associates provides and every client relationship the company builds.
